Anybody else notice this the last few days?

I saw an ad on a site I own with Adsense that have more than 25 characters and descriptions more than 70 characters. I thought maybe some glitch or something.

Just now, I saw the same on another site I visit frequently with the same thing.

They are AdWords as there is the "Ads by Google" link to them.

Something new I don't know about? Anyone else see this?

There was a limited trial released to a select few earlier this year, experimenting with a different ad format. I guess there may a few adverts from that trial floating around.

Yea, they asked me to participate and I wrote a couple of ads, which were supposedly accepted - but I never heard anything about the results of the beta, and there was nothing in my account that showed me any stats for that ad, nor did I ever happen to have it come up for me when I searched for it. It's like the whole thing never happened.

Kind of weird to participate in a beta test and then just have the whole thing vanish. Maybe I dreamed it.

Yeah - I did all the set up for this over some time ago - could even have been last year some time. Never heard anything about it afterwards.

I always wondered why it said 'Short Ad' at the top of the screen.
