Bid price decrease policy change?

It used to be that when you changed your bid price up or down the change only took a few minutes. Now if you decrease your bid, the change doesn't seem to happen until the next day. It's happened to me twice in the last 10 days. I decreased a bid at 6:15 am according to google's history in the tools section. The average price hasn't blinked. 12000 clicks later, it's still at the old price. Same problem last week. The bid didn't change until the following day. Technical issue or yet another unannounced money grab?

"The bid didn't change until the following day."

The bid didn't change or your average cost per click didn't change?

The bid changed, but the avg cpc remained the same all day, way above the bid price. I emailed them asking for a refund.

it can take a little time to ripple through, but not too long - plus click reporting has a delay as well. suggest you look at your hourly reports to look back now and see what the curve towards you new settings looks like in retrospect.

good luck.

I looked at the hourlys. It took 12 hours to change. I asked for refund but of course total silence from G.
