Does Google Look at CTR on Content?

I remember when Google said that CTR on content ads did not affect your overall score. Is this still true?

For example, if I have a 5% CTR on search but only a .05% CTR on content is that going to hurt my QS or is CTR on content still ignored?

This is a good question with the recent new changes. Perhaps ASA could advise on this.

I have the feeling they also take content CTR in account now.
No offical word on it, as far as I know...

If they do I would certainly hope it is content specific as CTR on content is lower 90% of the time.

This is still a bad idea for multiple reasons though. Let's say I'm smart and block MFA sites from showing my ads. As we all know MFA often have very high CTRs.

So now I'd be penalized for not wanting my budget wasted away on MFA stuff.

Stupid.

I think CTR is always relative, so even if they did use it on content, I would hope it would be relevant to other content ads.
