Placing tracking code before the </body> tag

How to do it with shared borders?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I gotta know.

My Website uses shared borders and I created it with FrontPage 2002. I add tracking code just before the </body> tag, then publish it. The result is that the shared footer (many lines of HTML) winds up between the tracking code and the </body> tag. This appears to be preventing my conversions from being recorded.

How do I place the tracking code next to the </body> tag? By placing it inside the shared footer? In that case how can I edit the border HTML?

Thanks for any help.

It isn't a dumb question, it's a dumb tool.
Get rid of FrontPage and use an editor that lets you write proper HTML
without trying to 'help' you.

In the meantime, if you are using a PC, just open the page in notepad after Frontpage has finished messing with it and edit it directly there.
