So that is the final straw. We are done, done, done and I hope someone comes soon to knock Google off its arrogant perch. I will not spend another dime with them ever again.
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. And the little guy gets screwed again.

One site QS has gone up. It was hit last time and this time they almost bring back old levels...
The other site is totally Sc***d.
Third site unaffected.
Needless to say the most profitable site is hit the most...
Scratching my head and looking for workarounds..
I understand the frustration, and I definitely understand being frustrated with Google. I have my own issues with Google, but if I let that dictate how I ran my business it would cost me a ridiculous amount of money. So instead I choose to work on mastering the system and Google and make it work for me.
And the little guy gets screwed again.
From an Adsense publisher's perspective, I'm certainly seeing evidence of this on one of my sites, as all my regular "little guy" advertisers, who have small, local businesses relevant to the site, have suddenly disappeared.
I can only conclude they've been priced out of the market. Not good for them, and not good for me. :(
I actually think it is easier for us "little guys" to deal with this since we have more time and incentive to work on our dinky little campaigns and small web sites than some of the bigger players who may get lost in the sheer volume of what needs to be done to significantly improve their QS.

Example : i bid a keywords "red blue yellow widgets" in exact, broad, and phrase match, and make it point to mywidgetswebsite/red-blue-yellow-widegts.htm
What is a perfect landing page if is not that?
Until now seem not working. I will post my results later.
I'm really thinking to try adcenter and yahoo...
Sharing experience about this new QS algo will help us all.
Google determines the past history of the keyword, not how your ad performs for those keywords... The rep suggested that I up the bid to meet their absurd demands & that they may lower it, but there's no guarantee.
They don't care that your ad may perform better than what they predict based on past history. They don't care that $.05/click is better than nothing. They don't care that zero performance is not better performance. They just don't care about their customers & denied being able to do a damn thing about it.
I have keywords and phrases w/ absolutely no adwords ads appearing. They cannot justify, in any way, shape, or form, that they are doing me a favor by deactivating my keywords and phrases and demanding I pay more because, in their opinion, they may not, in some otherly world, perform how they want... I don't give a damn how they think my ads should perform. If there is no competition, I SHOULD NOT have to pay $.20 per click for my ads!
At no time did the Google rep give me a valid response. The rep may "understand my frustration" but refused to do a damn thing about it. Haven't other people been able to get them to do something? Is it because I don't spend hundreds or thousands per month? Is it because I'm not a shareholder?
Actually, you're doing better than some - going from $.05 or $.06 to $.15 - it might not fit within your margins, but plenty of people are hitting $1.00 or $5.00 in order to keep words active on pages deemed lesser quality.
Google determines the past history of the keyword, not how your ad performs for those keywords...
Not landing page quality, not 'user experience'...opportunity cost.
If you're aggressive in finding CPA bargains you're wearing a target.
For example, you can set a daily budget of five pound and choose to pay five pence each time your ad is clicked.
Advertising is advertising.. SERP's are SERP's . They should be kept apart. The fact is that Google makes money by "blurring the lines" between sponsored and natural listings. If they put a big font statement above their money makers such as "ADVERTISING LINKS" then their CTR's and thus their profit will fall precipitously.
That is the benefit of PAID ADVERTISING. You don't have to be an SEO expert. How's their CPA initiative (ie: pushing out affiliates and taking the profits for themselves..) going anyway?
User experience my rear
I'd rather not experience your...er...
I can imagine google isn't too keen on their reputation being associated with your rear either. Maybe turn around?
Or add some content to cover up stuff?
Set your budget
There's no minimum spending requirement--the amount you pay for AdWords is completely up to you. For example, you can set a daily budget of five dollars and choose to pay five cents each time your ad is clicked.
They don't promise to show your ad for that price. They simply say that you can choose to pay 5 cents for it each time it is clicked.
If it is never shown, it will never be clicked. There is nothing false about that.
It doesn't say we guarantee you as many clicks as you want for 5 cents on any keyword you choose for any campaign you run.
