Kind of an un-answerable question I know, but a friend just asked me if I knew how many ad impressions Google delivers each day, and what the split is between search and content.
shaka1978, I can't resist re-telling an old family joke, used when some one asks about a number or quantity of some sort that is basically unanswerable. It varies from telling to telling, but goes essentially like this:
Well, if you take half the number and multiply that by two, you'd come pretty close to having the exact right answer.
Yes - my family is absolutely hilarious. We've got a million others, too, just as good.
Forgive me. A long day. ;)
AWA
Spend: $526,000
Impressions 33,879,657
So, $1.87B (G revenue for Q3) / $526K is 3554. If I multiply my impressions by 3554 I get:
120,408,300,978
So, 120B impressions per quarter.
Approx. 1.33B impressions per day worldwide.
Wildly inaccurate I expect but as good a guess as I make.
Thanks,
Neil
