Adwords and Analytics linking

Does not link Adwords data with Analytics

For some reason, I have inquired three times about this problem with Google Analytics and CPC Analysis and have yet to receive a response from Google (It's been three weeks and nothing).

Here's the issue: when I log in to my Google AdWords account and click on the Google Analytics tab, I do not see any organic or referral traffic statistics (I see the message in the red box stating that the "tracking script has not yet been detected on my Web site (it is installed)," although it does show me all of my CPC data under the Search Engine Marketing reports. If I login to Google Analytics separately via [google.com...] with the same login info as my Adwords account it does show me all the traffic statistics but it does not link my CPC data with it. Is there something I'm doing incorrectly here? Can somebody please assist me with getting this problem solved?

Thank you for your assistance.

treborito,

I can't really think of a scenario in which that should happen. If you can StickyMail me your AdWords and Analytics account IDs, I will have the Analytics team track it down, and see what happened to your emails. They definitely reply faster than three weeks to standard questions.

AWA2,

This is a related problem and should be simple to solve but I am stuck. All I am trying to do is link my analytics account with my adwords account. I follow the FAQ instructions from google. Namely: log into my adwords account - click across into analytics account - then it says I should click "I already have a analytics account" this option is not available on my screen - then it says click on link account. I have search everywhere for this option but it is no where to be found. What am I missing or doing wrong?

coastalhills,

Do your Analytics and AdWords accounts share the same login email address? In order for the system to automatically find the Analytics account, the email logins need to be the same. If that's not the case, add your AdWords email address as an administrator to the Analytics account.

If that doesn't work, we can follow up privately to get it worked out.
