Making different CPC for content vs. search

Can I do this at the ad group level?

I've heard it can be done

Search CPC max at $x
Content CPC max at $y

I know it can be done, but before I screw up my account, HOW can I do this?

I'd like one adgroup to have a search CPC at $x, a content cpc at $y, and another ad group with $a for search, and $z for content.

Where do I program this in my acount?

You go into the campaign settings and turn on separate content bids for the entire campaign. Just because you turn them on doesn't mean you have to use them for ALL your Ad Groups. Once you've done that, you have the ability to add a max cpc for search and another max cpc for content.

Sorry Hubie - think I just posted this reply in your other thread! You have to opt to separate content and search bids at the campaign level. Change the campaign settings.
