Any Recourse For Advertiser Breaking TOS?

So I have this one 'competitor' who had 3 sites taking up 3 of the top 4-5 AdWords spots on any given day for the main keywords.

I have tried the email complaint route with Google submitting evidence that the sites are all run by the same company. Having gone multiple rounds with them, their ultimate response was, 'We don't see it.'

To add insult to injury they launched a 4th site this weekend and now take up 1-2-3-5 respectively not to mention driving the cost up over 25% in one month.

Has anyone ever had any luck with this sort of thing?

Hi,

Did you submit complaints on all three fronts:

1) AW ToS violations.

2) AS ad-quality problem (if you are an AS publisher).

3) Search-result quality (not AS nor AW).

If you hit all three parts of G at once with good evidence (eg URL and screenshots), then you are more likely to get someone who can act swiftly.

Remember that the goals of the different parts of G sometimes conflict, so you may have to find the right raw nerve to jangle for maximum effect... B^>

resubmit your evidence, I have had to do this up to many times. It takes months. Google does not like to deal with it. My rep used to throw the emails out. Squeaky wheel finally worked.

Please feel free to StickyMail me the details regarding the situation. I will check with the team here at Google to see what investigation has been done already and ask them to revisit the situation if I see anything outstanding.

However, please be advised that what we need to see to consider these sites related has to be something concrete. Not to say that this is the scenario in this case, but the link between the sites has to be stronger then you 'know' its true. We cannot get into the middle of a 'he said' type dispute. So, like I said, I'd love to see this case and look at the evidence, but we do get the 'but I really know' type requests and it's just not something I can use as a cause for action.
