All my keywords in Phrase match right now

How do I bulk change them to Broad match?

Is there a 1 fell swoop way to change all my keywords to broad match (from phrase match)?

Or at least is there an easy way to do this in Adwords Editor?

Highlight all of the words within the keywords tab under your campaign in Adwords editor. Then change the match type within Adwords Editor at the bottom. Should take two seconds.

THANKS...

what if I want to ADD broadmatch everywhere....instead of CHANGING from phrase to broad, how about keeping phrase AND broad?

(i'll just lower the CPC on the broad vs the phrase).

So I'll keep both, not replace.

Is there any easy way to do this?

Hubie
you can do copy and past in the AdWords editor I believe.

Of course you've got to be careful you don't lose your history with all these changes. I did some wide ranging changes and put all my pages back into review - 3 weeks before I caught up again.

Pengi makes a good point. Allegedly the QS stays with the adword for a specified domain name. In practice i have found that they often have slower servings etc when moved and tweaked. As I mentioned to you before, I would keep both running until you have got a bit of traffic and QS for the new structure.

Keep us informed of your progress.

I love seeing so many people with Editor suggestions. It's the way of the future.

But, if you want to go old school, you can also make the change from within the Tools menu in your account using the Find and Edit Keywords tool. By not specifying any values for any fields other than keyword match type, you can pull all keywords of a specific match type. You can then also opt to make sweeping changes to match type under option #2.

you left off the last steps... raise the limit on your credit card and prepare for lower ctr, position and roi.
