Ads in New Account: Now you see 'em now you don't

Here's something odd:
I'm with Adwords for over three years now and just opened up a new account. Every ad in different campaigns showed up alright in top positions (I bid very high for test reasons at the beginning). I asked Google to allow my ads for no. 1 to 3 positions which they did. The ads showed up one more day and are now completely non-existend for two days now (no impressions, no clicks anymore).

How can that happen? I have no message or whatsoever in my account telling me that my ads are down. Nor did I change the settings. Anybody got a clue to this phenomenon?

Have you tried bidding more? If you selected pos 1-3, and your score doesn't allow you to be displayed in those pos, you will not be displayed at all

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

If your quality score for your landing page is deemed to be below google's standards, you will cease to exist on the google system. Sad but true.

The Ads Diagnostic tool within your AdWords account can also help you troubleshoot the issue. If your ad rank isn't sufficient to meet your position preferences, the diagnostic tool will let you know.

If your quality score were too low for your ads to be displayed, your keywords would be marked as inactive within your account.
