Adgroups with different urls

I was just wondering whether any of you guys that got hit with the recent price hikes with keywords were showing more than one ad for an adgroup but with different domains.

For example I have two sites with overlapping subject area. I was wondering whether I could run two adverts side by side but going to different domains. Obviously only one advert will show at any one time for the keywords. However, if one got hit by the price hikes in keywords - would it affect both domain names. And if this is the case, surely this is not what QS is all about. One of the two sites could be much better quality than the other.

I have these two overlapping sites. They are completely different in all respects, but do have a couple of pages that are on the same topics. I get a much better ROI from the site that I think if any, Google would slam. The other site I feel is much better quality, although this particular page gets a very low ROI.

Just wondering if anyone has experience of this.

Sounds like an interesting case for an experiment.

May be I should try producing a low quality page to try it out with!

I posted this thread a while back, but did not get any response. Noticed the AWA has been in here last few days - perhaps you could advise. Is it essential to put the two different domains in different campaigns? How does Adwords treat this scenario?
