This may sound incredible newbie to some. I'm about to sign up with Adwords to promote by Flash based resource web site. It accesses a lot of XML linked information but does require Flash to run it. ( In other words it's not animation but information ).

Does Adwords permit landing pages to be Flash based? I've read that if the landing page requires extra software such as PDF Adwords does not accept your add. I was wondering if this applies to Flash too or has Flash become such a standard that it's not an issue anymore.

Thanks

wbjpkshane- I just launched an Adwords campaign last week for a client who is using 100% flash (against my recommendations of course). What I've found so far is partial success, which is more than I expected. Most of the adgroups are not serving impressions, but one of the more important ones is. Basically, what will happen is that Adwords will have a hard time determining what the site is about, and therefore be hesitant to apply a strong quality score to the ads.

In short, can you change your site content to html?

Why don't you cloak your content? Serve Flash to humans & simple text pages (with similar content) to bots?
