If I have two campaigns that target overlapping geographic areas (say one is 30 miles around Baltimore and the other is 30 miles around DC) and in each of those campaigns I have an adgroup that contains the keyword "widget," will both ads show up for the keyword "widget" if the searcher is located in the overlapping area? Will the searcher see both ads? Or only the ad with the highest bid, or the highest quality score? Or will the ads rotate? Anybody know?

Thanks.

Only one ad will show at a time.

Essentially, your ads will fight against each other for the highest Ad Rank (QS x CPC) to see which is shown.

Odds are, that for a while they will both show in that overlapping area until one starts to outperform the other one, then the amount each ad is shown will start to favor one ad over the other one.
