Anyone else ontice getting signed out of AdWords even after a quick bathroom trip. The session/cookie needs to be extended to over 30 seconds of inactivity, it is driving me nuts. Anyone else?

I've not had a question about session time-out in so long, hdpt00, that I have actually forgotten how long it is. I'll find out, though.

It is far, far longer than 30 seconds, though, of that I am sure.

If there is no possibility that your short session time-out is due to, say, a browser level setting someone using your computer may have made, I'd suggest contacting the AdWords support team from within the account - letting them know your OS, browser type and version, etc.

The timeout use to be 30 minutes; and overall, it seems to be close to that at present.

If you're logged in through a Google account, then your timeout should log you back to the main screen of the account and not out of the account completely.

Yah, it doesn't log me out of AdWords, but if I'm creating a new account or adding keywords, let's say, get a bite to eat (no more than 5 minutes), I come back, press ok, etc. and it won't save the changes and go back to the front of my MCC.

I wish it'd allow me to ok anything after 30 minutes or whenever the session timeout is.

Get what I mean?

It might be 30 minutes or so. But it's still annoyingly short. I vote for at least 3 hours. I mean if people are afraid of someone coming to their computer and using their account then lock your system, problem solved. Or log out yourself.

I bet there are a lot of us who don't share their computers would like a "stay logged-on" option for their AdWords and AdSense accounts.

I don't have an AdWords account yet, but I'm an AdSense publisher. Since I check my reports several times a day, I wish I could stay logged on all the time. My solution was to install the Adsense Notifier extension for Firefox, which automatically logs me onto my AdSense account every time the browser is opened.
