hi I was wondering if some of you guys would like to share some tips on how I can lower my ppc cost in google. Starting bids for keywords are just to high and I can't seem to compete with other advertisers, and even if my ads become visible in google I find my ads way below the listings and that is a problem since I can't convert anything into sales when I am in page 15 of google.

thanks in advance for your help

If you haven't already done it try keeping you adgroups to approx 20 well targeted keywords and write the ad text ecpressly aimed at these keywords. It is better to have 6 adgroups with approx 20 keywords in each than one adgroup with 120 keywords.

What match types are you using - broad, exact phrase?

What is the quality of the landing page - are your ads well targeted and relevant to the landing page?

Thanks for the reply trannack, No I have no tried keeping adwords group into 20, but I have tried writing ads containing the keywords. I used to have a landing page of my own but I decided to just forward the link directly to my affiliate link, I have observed that I had better conversions doing this than having a landing page of my own (both in overture and msn)

I have stopped my campaigns in google because of the high bid requirement to get my ads running and because of the stiff competetion, I would welcome any additional inputs.

Thanks
