I'm a little confused and hope someone could help me....

We are in a niche market with Widget being our main market keyword.

Say I have the terms...

Adgroup 1
Widget * 0.10
[Widget] * 0.40

Adgroup 2
Widget Gift * 0.10
[Widget Gift] * 0.40
Note: I am definitely not interested in the term "Gift" without Widget

Concerning Widget and Widget Gift
Do I need both broad match terms?

If someone types in Widget Collectable Gift does the ad for Widget or Widget Gift appear?

If I take away Widget Gift will the ad for Widget appear when someone types in Widget Gift?

This same situation occurs with overlap on nearly all of my keywords and I'm not sure what the best approach is....any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you're not interested in "gift" without "widget" and you already have Widget * 0.10 in AdGroup 1, The would you be better of by replacing Widget Gift * 0.10 with "Widget Gift" * 0.10

So make the more specific broad match term a phrase match term instead? That makes more sense. Thanks...

Still interested in how Google treats the 2 broadmatch terms...anyone?
