Site-Targeting Won't Pause.

I paused a site-targeted campaign a few hours ago,
it was at $3 - now it's up to $17 and still going strong?

I've paused both Campaign and Adgroup level...
and I know there's some flux in starting and stopping campaigns,
but this is a bit much.

Does it usually take this long?

Stats can be delayed for hours, and data may populate even after you pause an account. However, there is definitely a delay between pausing a campaign and the point when site targeted ads cease to display.

I did a site targeting campaign this morning, and went to one of the websites to see if my ad was being displayed. My Ads were being shown, and when I clicked on an ad to test it, the entire landing page loaded in the 250X250 box – so I could barely read my landing page. I deleted that specific site URL from my campaign. I checked the site later, (probably 30 minutes later but not sure) and my ads were still showing.

Thanks RSW...what caught me was my stats though.
It was hours later and I could see people still visiting the site from that referrer.

It seems to have stopped now though...but that's pretty sketchy.

It cost me $15 more than I intended to spend (big deal)...
but when your dealing with hundreds of thousands of impressions that can add up to thousands of extra dollars!

I don't expect it to pause instantly, but this seemed a bit too long.
