Hi all.

I'm new to adwords and wonder is there any point setting up a different ad for each keyword? We advertise one service under many different keywords and have been using dynamic titles to make the ad look more relevant to the user. At the moment we only have one ad.

Would there be any point writing mulitple ads with the keyword in the description?

Thanks in advance for any advice you might share.

hi there, welcome.

what we do is group certain keywords in one adgroup and write relevant ads for that group.

say "red wigets" for example.

super furry red wigets
top notch red wigets
cheap red wigets

and so on.

do a separate adgroup for "blue wigets"

this way you can target an ad at red wigets and one at blue wigets, making them slightly more relevant to the users. this will help increase your click thru rate.

the more targetted you can make your ad, the better it is going to perform for you.

i hope this helps

Hi Big Jimmi
You can use the "dynamic" feature to include the actual keyword in your Ad - (there's a thread about this somewhere in the last week or two -sorry I don't have time to find a link). This can tailor to Ad to be Keyword Specific.

It's certainly a good idea to have Ads Targeted a specific sets of keywrds and associated landing pages - think of the user and what they may be looking for.
