Hi,

I've splitted many of my campaigns to see what's working best for us - the content network or the regular search. In all of my content campaigns my Search option is disabled, but I see little traffic coming to these campaigns.
It began about 5-6 days ago... can anyone thing of a reason why is this happening? Are my ads been 'tested' to view potential CTR?
I'm a bit lost with this, any help would be appreciated.

(these campaigns are running for more than a month and this is the first time it happens)

It used to be that you couldn't fully opt out of Search... but, I also don't remember being able to uncheck both search boxes in the past like you can now.

AWA, I've seen this question a couple of times.... can you please clarify?

Hi,

Yes, AWA, I'm confused too. I get the feeling that you cannot prevent ads appearing on Google Search entirely, whatever options you select.

Fair enough as a way for G to assess ad CTR/goodness/etc in a controlled setting, but this behaviour should be declared "on the tin" if so.

Poster_boy is correct. If you have search and only search network enabled you will only receive traffic from Google's search network. If you have Content network and only Content network enabled, you will receive traffic from both Content Network and Search Network. At least this is how it was a few months ago when I was studying for the Professionals exam.
