Why does Google allow results for fake traffic generators? I realise censoring the serps is a very grey area but surely this threatens their own business model (not to mention our incomes).

Funny enough a kword search on the phrase "fake hits" even manages to turn up an Adwords result. Before you exclaim wotdaf*#k it turns out to be yet another one of those "high quality", dictionary loaded MFA sites that relate to the search query in only the most lateral way (if at All).

Google do tend to remove these companies. I'd give them an email to let them know of the specific cases. Note that Google will need to see that they are involved in fake traffic generation, and not just be called 'fakehits.com'

Search "fake hits" for yourself. Lot's of results & they look pretty dodgy to me. BTW I checked out fakehits.com, one of those domain parking pages, probably one of Google's search network partners.
