I'm a newbie - sorry for that, but anyway...
Trying to promote a site selling some helpful information for bankrupt people.
Signed up with Adwords last week. Set up two campaigns and various Ad Groups. Trialing various ads.
After a few hours, the first campaign started to generate impressions. One campaign got about 300 impressions with 0.9% average CTR. No words were at risk or disabled.
Then none at all since yesterday, despite me upping my keyword bids and budget.
As for the second campaign, that says it is active but there have been no impressions at all in five days.
What's going on? I'm not in breach of editorial.
As for others posting about campaigns ramping up, is this something to do with billing? I've read Google start off by giving everyone £50 of credit. If that billing goes through OK, then it goes up to £250, then £500 and so on.
But even so, I've only generated £0.66 worth of clicks so far, so no reason for them to turn the tap off!
Any help gratefully appreciated,
Richard.
No need to be sorry. Welcome to the forum.
Yes, it is taking a long time for Google to approve campaigns currently. You need to write them a polite note to get the review process expedited. If I write to them, I normally get action within 2 working days , sometimes faster.
I was given the usual 'pre-selected' reasons for why my keywords were not triggering my ads i.e. no proper explanation
In the same e-mail I was the told that some of my ads had been disapproved due to a spelling mistake, even though the same ads are present in another campaign which have been running for 3 months!
