I have a site targeted campaign and today, I decided to make another one using only the very best few sites from the original one - so I could play around more with cpm, ad types, ad scheduling and what not...

So, I delete the 3 or 4 best performing sites from Site Campaign 1 and start shiny new Site Campaign 2 with only those 3 or 4 sites in.

That was about 8 hours ago.

Impressions: 0
Clicks: 0

Have I done something I shouldn't? All the settings (language, countries) the same. I was getting thousands of impressions on those sites every day until this morning, now ZERO.

Any ideas?

Don't ads have to be reviewed before they run on the content network?

That was one of my theories...can anyone confirm that?

when you make a site-targeted campaign, that it takes a while before they start showing?

I think I made ST campaign few weeks back and can't remember this delay.

Ads have to be reviewed before campaigns start runing. It takes up to 2 weeks until they are reviewed.
Unlike Kws campaigns, ST campaigns have to be reviewed, otherwise they won't show up anywhere, anytime.

Actually, all ads have to be reviewed before they run on the content or search networks. Unreviewed ads only run on Google itself.

ok, thanks everyone. Only been using AW for about three and a half years. You'd have thought I'd have worked this one out for myself. :-))
