Is it generally better to go for more of the £0.04 keywords and that one £0.91 keyword?
I have a very small budget - as my site is generally a hobby site.
Also it is better to go for one keyword:
Widgetworld (£0.49)
or two:
Maps of Widgetworld (£0.45)

These keywords will be generally 'cheap blue twisted widgets' rather than 'widgets'. There will be far fewer searches on the first but if your site targets this category, they will convert better than the broad match. It will be cheaper also.
Some judicious use of the negative keyword filter will also help in optimising a small budget.
Edit: Just found -
[adwords.google.com...]
Says about targetting to specific countries. Am assuming this is what you mean.
Thanks

: Google SEARCH Network
: Goggle Partner Network
: Google Publisher (Content) network.
You get to choose, what you want, through the adWords interface.
The ads that show up on various websites is the 'Content network'.
You can bid seperately for the SEARCH and CONTENT. CONTENT is significantly cheaper.
No.. That is Geo Targetting. Target your ads only in countries where you can convert. Donot waste your budget for click thrus. from countries which cannot or will not convert for your niche. This is a very common newbie mistake.
