I started to use it, sended money, my ad was running for one day, but
after then I changed from basic to advance version (I am a hungarian
person), and made some changes. The ad is not running from this time.
Everything says it is running, but is not. I send a mail through contact, some wrote me back from the hungarian team in 1 day, that I need to write a space after "." I logged in and there was a red part telling me, my ad is now not running until I make the changes. I made them and wrote back an e-mail. The red part was away, ad still not running... That was 3 weeks ago, I wrote 6-7 times through to contact part and a few e-mail through direct e-mail to the address from where I got the e-mail from hungarian adwords team. No reaction!
Everything is telling me in system, it is running. It is not!
I have money there.
Maybe it is my fault, that it is not running, ok, no problem, if somebody tells me what is wrong, but nobody tells me about it! I am writing every day a letter and nothing is going on, no answer.
I am very sad about it. When I was started the AdWords account, I was
thinking: wooooow.
But now I am thinking others...
Please, give me ideas what I should now do?
Start a new account and get lost of my money pre-paid or what? I am a
business man, I would like to use this possibility of adwords, but if I can not...
Settings are: montly amount is 5000 HUF
campaign budget is set to 4980 / 30 days
the default maximum CPC is 12,00
by the keywords the maximum CPC is showing from auto 20,47 to auto 163,63
I have tried everything, made a new campaign with different text and url for a different website, nothing is shown.
I have send at the beginning 3000 HUF, 1000 HUF was spent to the starting cost, there is 2000 HUF left (not enough for a month, but I would like to test it before I send more money).
My ad was running for a while, I had 73 showing and 1 click.
That's why I don't understand why it has stopped.
Please, if somebody could help me, I would be thankful, becouse 1,5 month is lost and I don't know what the problem is. Thank you!
I noticed that the ads in the campaign were not getting any clicks but they were still getting lots of impressions. So I did a G search and none of the ads were showing. Which of course was strange because it was still showing lots of impressions for the ad.
I wrote G and they wrote back saying that they had now approved the ad and that they were running again. So I wrote back saying that if they had to approve the ad then what happened to make it change to unapproved.
They said that sometimes it just happens that an ad will get marked for manual approval. They said that you could check the disapproved ad tool and that it would tell you why or if an ad was not running.
Then a few days later I noticed that some other ads in a different campaign were not running because of invalid destination URL. Again these were ads that had been running off and on for about 6 months with no issues.
I checked to see if the ads did indeed have an invalid URL but I found that everything was fine.
I went to the disapproved ad tool as the rep had suggested earlier and it said that there were no ads existing for that KW. Again, obviously wrong because the ads with the KW was right there in front of me. Kind of a paradox--you use the tool to find out what's wrong with the ad and they tell you it doesn't exist.
So I wrote to support telling my story. They again wrote back that they had manually approved my ad and the ads were running. The strange thing about this was that days before I had changed the sales page to a name-squeeze page. Maybe that set off another filter since we now know that G doesn't like name squeeze pages.
The rep said they didn't know why it was marked as an invalid URL but that maybe the site had been down or something. Since I had been working on the site for a few days I am 99% sure that the site was not down. Also even if a site was down temporarilly (which happens sometimes) shouldn't the robot recheck it every so often instead of just leaving the site marked invalid URL for 3 days. That's why I think it was some kind of switch having to do with the change to a name squeeze page.
I think now (I have just read through the help of AdWords) that there must be some hidden problem, some kind of bug. It simply stopped. I will try now the write again for Google, but I am affraid, they will not answer me, becouse they have not answered for my previous letters. It is intresting, that I got an answer for the first letter from the hungarian team, but they had a suggestion why it was not running, stopped them, I cured it, they then allowed the ad again, but now, they do not know, what is wrong. It is a bad feeling, but what if they do not know the answer in Hungary and are waiting that I stop? Brr....
So, I try again.

If some setting are not correct, the system should tell me about it, right?
Do I need the hold the amount for a month in my account?
5000 huf is for a month, 2000 huf is now in it. Can this be the problem?
But there was no click nor any show of my adwertisement!
What I understand from the above post is that the minimum CPC has gone up from 12 to 20.47 - 163.63 in your currency. If your bid is lower than the required CPC , then naturally your ads will not show.
As to why the minimum CPC has gone up so high? , you will have to refer to the Google Quality Score issue. Recently a lot many sites were hit by a low QS which meant increased CPC values. You may refer to the below mentioned thread:

Check your Geo targetting settings.
Try the content network to increase impressions.
Add more keywords ..
especially add
eg. Blue widgets or widgets
instead of Small blue widgets
Try adding different but often searched keywords related to your product.
Reduce your negative keyword list. Eliminate it for a day or two to check reaction.
