Can I separate Google.com and Search Network traffic?

Want to track them separately

I want to track traffic and conversions from Google.com and their Search Network separately. I have my own tracking system to do this.

So what I've done in the past is setup 2 different campaigns, one with just Google enabled and the other with Google and Search Network enabled but with a slightly lower bid. This generally results in the 2nd campaign only being search network traffic, and it usually works fine because generally the search network traffic is a little cheaper anyway.

However I now have a situation where search network traffic is apparently the same price as traffic from Google.com for these particular keywords, because when I bid lower my positions sink and I barely get a trickle of clicks.

Does anyone know of another "trick" in order to separate the Google.com clicks and the Search Network clicks?

I have done basically the same thing as you in the past. Two campaigns with slightly different bids. I know of no other way. Doesn't mean there ain't one ;-)
