Hits Originating from "http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/..."

We have Google Ads and over the past week we have been getting a larger number of hits than usual. The link identifying where the hit is coming from is as follows "http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/..."

When I click on this link I get a series of 4 ads down the left hand site of the screen (the rest of the screen is blank). These ads do not look like the usual google ads. Non of these relate to our company and the hits do not show on the keyword stats on the adwords page. Does anyone know why hese hits are appearing and not showing on the keywords stats page?

Many times after clicking on the link and seeing the row of ads you can click "Advertise on this site" to see where the clicks are originating from and then block the site if you feel it is unrelated.

[pagead2.googlesyndication.com...] are hits from Adsense displaying your ads on other sites.

You will need to look at the raw server logfiles to see exactly where they are coming from.
