The QS update was cleverly planned.

G, thou art so smart...

What if I were G and I were to plan a major fix in the Adwords program. A fix that would hurt a lot of folks out there and would very likely lead to outrage. I would surely make that fix in the same week that I announce a major jump in revenue. Who on earth cares about that quality score update mumbo jumbo if I publicize a billion dollar revenue jump at the same time?

I don't get the HAHAHA part. How do we benefit from Google's stock going down the drain?

Because they need to FIX it in order to get it back up.

I don't think the quality score update has anything to do with the price of their stocks. And I don't think they are going to fix it. I think they had a clear purpose with this. It was carefully planned and executed. Our trouble is collateral damage they can live with.

No it's not. I believe the chaos among many Adwords accounts is something they anticipated on. It would have been only mildly funny if the trouble many of us experience would have been an accident.
