Quality site hurt by AdWords quality landing page change

My Rep Said there should not be a problem:

When I heard about the new quality score landing page update, I called my company’s AdWords account representative as a preemptive measure to ensure our account would not be affected by this new update. We reviewed our account together, going over keywords, ad text and landing pages, and he said there should not be a problem.

However, this morning I was shocked:

We have been hit with minium bids of $10.00 on our most profitable keywords. We have quality landing pages with unique and fresh content. We promote our own service, and are not an affiliate. :(

Call your account rep:

I am sure other quality sites have been hit with increased bids on a few (or more) of their keywords. Call your account rep and have them commit them to address your concerns with ‘upper levels' of AdWords management.

Also, are there any other ways you can think of to deal with this new update?

At least open accounts on overture/yahoo and MSN, and try your luck also there, if you did not use them already. None has minimum spending requirements anymore, on msn you can import adwords ads and keyword lists.

Google SHOULD feel some damage from this.
