Is it just us, or is everyone getting destroyed by this landing page quality issue? Are big advertisers affected? Are affiliates being singled out? My landing pages are very relevant, yet I have lost most of my high CTR words in an instant. (I am an affiliate, with sites with content) To run a business correctly, you must have dependable advertising and know what to expect. Google has ruined their search engine for advertisers since it is now unpredictable as to whether you will be able to advertise at all and at what price. This is unacceptable to me.

Does anyone think this latest version will be rolled back in the next couple of days? I sure hope so, as my advertising is gone. No warning from google they just threw this at us.
I liked the old model where clickthru rate determined rank and price. It was perfectly predictable and fair. The new system is a black box, and you don't know what to do. They offer no concrete ideas.

I just checked some clicks they asked for 10.00 in another person's account. It is .05 on their account when I checked the word there. This whole thing is wrong and needs to be reversed ASAP. Its ill conceived in my opinion.

I'm wondering if it IS affiliates - that seems to be a common theme amongst the people who have been hit by this.

I just checked over 7500 words spread between five totally different clients in five totally different markets, and only three words went inactive, all of which needed to be raised from 30 cents to 40 cents. And none of the clients are affiliate sites.

I have an ecommerce site and my primary keyword is up 400%.

I have no interest in affiliates.
