Has the superlatives policy changed?

I noticed a competitor ad the other day with the title "World's Finest *******". I had attempted such extreme superlatives in the past but always was rejected when the ad got reviewed.

So I put a complaint about the ad into Adwords Support and was eventually informed that sites that provide 3rd party verification of their claims are allowed to use such superlatives. Then I emailed Adwords Support back and pointed out that the site in question provides no such verification. Support then replied that according to their current policy "World's Finest" is now allowed without verification.

I'm planning to put up some new ads with these new higher powered superlatives and encourage the rest of you to do the same. Does anyone know of some other strong superlatives that are now allowed without verification?

A competitor just had their ad pulled when my client reported them for "#1 rated", with no supporting evidence on the landing page (or elsewhere on their site).

So that phrase is still not allowed.
