We are a good customer of Google, using both Adwords and Premium ads. We'd like to add some search terms to the premium account, but the sales people tell us there aren't enough impressions to sell us guaranteed inventory. No problem, we have something called "aggressive delivery" switched on, meaning we can eat up eat up any extra impressions which we didn't order, so there's no need for Google to guarantee us inventory.
The problem is that Google refuses to add search terms which don't have enough searches to guarantee us an inventory.....unless we open a second premium account. What kind of logic is that? We have to take a bunch of search terms we don't need? We have an account. Why do we need another one?
Rant over. Apart from that, thanks Google for an excellent service :)
Feel free to release the anger on here.
deep heavy breathing usually does the trick.
I know exactly what you mean, and am forever creating new campaign to counter this scenario.
I think its to do with how the initial IO is booked, and can not be added to at a later date.

We've found the AOL traffic good spenders, so have to take the rubbish to get what we want.
In all of this it's still about measuring overall ROI, sure we know we could make more if we could pick and chose, but it's not an option. When we start to lose money is when we switch things off or move the campaigns.
