Hey, 23 (all) of my ads were disapproved today by AdWords staff and the reason was:
===
Action taken: Suspended - Pending Revision
Issue(s): Identify Affiliate Status
===

My URLs do look like affiliate stuff. They have many parameters with ...affnum=...&sitenum=... among them.

But those URLs are MINE. I use the same software to track my affiliates and google adwords. That shows the big picture in terms of ROI.

Now, how can I proove Google that my stuff is in fact my?

Have anybody had to deal with this before?

Yes. We have had this problem before.

Solution? Just email them and explain the situation. Tell them that you are using those links to track the ads.

Don't worry - they won't take you to court and ask you to "prove" that they are not affiliate links.

Yep, it got resolved.
I wasn't worried about going to court :)
Just noticed that many of the converted visitors actually click the ad more than once.
Maybe it's just me, but I think people don't remember the name of the site, but rather remember how they found it. So when they get back to finally make a purchase - they look for tha ad. And it wasn't there. That's why I was worried about timing. Monday is the best day for me.

The bad thing with Adwords, though is that you will probably have to explain it for every ad you set up, so if you explain one time, you will have to explain every time again, when start a new ad!

Don't they have some sort of customer management system that keeps all notes for an account?
Something the editors check before making their decisions?

I think they do. I remember the AdWords support guy mentioning "We have marked your account - so you won't have problems in the future".

And we never had any problems after that

Well, that's nice to know.
I didn't even realize they disapprove affiliate links to start with.

They do not disapprove affiliate links. You just need to identify your affiliate status by inserting the word "affiliate" in the body of the ad.

Check their editorial guidelines.
