I am seeing adwords and adsense
Me too, Shak.
What's interesting here, guys, is the way the region (or network) is affecting the serving. Not just by country, either; I'm in Cleveland and see AdWords/AdSense just fine, while a buddy is in Michigan and seems to not be seeing them.
I wonder if the load balancing for the ad serving is network based instead of region based, because of what we're seeing.
Can you offer any explanations for the problem?
I'm not able to speak to exactly what occurred - but essentially there was an issue with some of the many servers whose job it is to deliver ads - now thankfully resolved.
Can you offer any assurances that this will not happen regularly?
Well, the best I can offer is to say that in the two years that I've been with AdWords, this is the first such occurrence. And you may be certain that it is a top priority that this not happen. ;)
This has a BIG impact on my revenue and can assume others are in the same boat.
Fully understood. Please accept our sincere apology - and know that Google is included amongst those whose revenue is affected.
I know it sounds corny, but in fact we're all in this together. Our success depends on your success. And I like to think that the reverse is true as well. It benefits no one when your ads are not showing, and we do not take it lightly.
I am not AWA...but nothin's perfect.
Besides, who do think is losing the most money in this episode?.
Thanks for that, nyet - and for yet another smile today. Much appreciated!
And lastly - thanks to all for your patience, and for the very quite nature of this thread. Also hugely appreciated.
