Can't see any activity since 22 Dec

Strange things.. Don't view my ads for my phrases,
and don't see any impressions and clicks in stats.
All is OK with credit card, no alerts.
My companies are online for about a year, always all was ok, about 200 impressions per day. But suddenly, at 22 December all stopped...
I wrote a message to support 2 days ago but still haven't received any reply..
What's happening now?
Maybe somebody can tell me something?

You probably didn't receive reply because of Christmas holidays. Wait for one more day before sending a mail again to adwords-support@google.com. Use your mailer client rather than the contact us form so that you can follow up with the customer support team.

Some of the accounts suddenly die inexplicably for no real reason. I call it the AIDS (AdWords' Inexplicable Death Syndrome). I have noticed that this mostly happens whenever Google fools around with their database and it only affects a few accounts.

It has happened to me a number of times. :)
A few mails to customer support team generally sets things right in a few days.

vibgyor, thank you for reply.

Today I've got the reply from AdWords:

"Due to difficulties with previous accounts you created in our program, we
are unable to allow you to advertise on Google."

How do you think, is such reply means AIDS?

Sounds like theyre banning you from using Adwords for previous infringements.

Strange!

I've never done any infringements.
Moreover, I haven't updated my companies since Novemeber.
All was OK for 2 month and suddenly they say that I do infringements...

It seems that I need to call Adwords right today.

It looks like Google had problems billing your credit card. You can possibly try contacting their HQ though I'm not sure whether it would work.
[google.com...]

Another WebmasterWorld member had a similar problem - I'm unable to dig out that thread. If you can spend some time, just go through some of the old threads in the AdWords forum and try contacting that member for a possible solution.

Meanwhile, consider signing up for other PPC search engines like Overture, FindWhat, Lycos, Sprinks and 7Search.

Thanks for replies, guys.

It seems that I understand the problem - I have another account in Adwords with the same billing info. It seems that GG don't like it. (But at the same time these two accounts worked 2 months without problems)

Also it happend that to call Google is unuseful thing - they don't want to speak, they say that you must contact only by email. So, I wrote them and waiting for reply.

And of course I use other PPC, but from my 2 years experience only Overture and Adwords give good results.

FYI:

We made 3 phone calls to them - they said: wait an email.
Today, 10 Jan we've got email:

"Thank you for your call. However, due to difficulties with previous accounts you created in our program, we are unable to allow you to advertise on Google."

:()

Hysterical laughter!
They don't like their clients, We spent about $10000 at Adwords and it seems that they don't want our money..

As I wrote, we have the second account with the same billing info. Yesterday we asked to remove it. Maybe after removing they say us something.

The story is continuing...

Is there a reason why you setup the second account with the same credit card? You can probably try explaining your reasons for setting up the second account (if you haven't already).

You simply cannot afford to ignore Google's traffic. If your pockets are deep enough, I suggest you try Premium Sponsorship. Since you will be paying $5000 per month minimum, you will have your own account manager. And you will be able to contact him/her through email, chat and telephone.

>Is there a reason why you setup the second account with >the same credit card? You can probably try explaining your >reasons for setting up the second account (if you haven't >already).

The reason was to separate the fees. Companies at the second account were to non-english queries..
I've just wrote the reply and said about this. Will see what will be the reply. (I'll write here the details)

As about Premium Sponsorship - it's too expensive for us to spend $5000/month. We spent $10000 for year - and this is our level. Anyway thank you for advise, vibgyor. I'll try to speak with my chief about this.

The story has just ended! Only now.
Adwords has released one of our account and removed second.
All is working now.

Never use 2 accounts with the same CC information!
Thay only allow one account per credit card to run!

Wow! That's great! How much was the downtime? one month? And why did it take so long? Were you exchanging mails all this time?

I will be marking this thread - should be useful to other AdWords advertisers whose accounts have been flagged.

I disagree with the issue with credit cards on different accounts. We run lots of accounts for clients and we always use the same credit card, and never had any problem.

There is usually a resolution but it's a shame we have to go through rings of fire to get to the resolution.

WebDiversity: I know you have been lucky so far. But I still suggest you drop them a mail for clarification.

I do remember Google customer service guy saying "A company/ individual is not supposed to have more than one account - even with different credit cards"

I guess all the Google AdWords loony laws are because of their billing model. Unlike other PPCs, Google bills their advertisers only after service has been rendered (traffic has been sent).

It probably makes them nervous when somebody creates multiple acounts with same credit card or multiple accounts with multiple credit cards.

I wish they put their rules in their TOS.

The downtime was about month. For this period we wrote them 3 times, got 3 replies, 2 of which were stupid "...we
are unable to allow you to advertise..." and last was successful message. For each of these replies we needed to call them by phone - 1 or 2 calls for each reply. Only after calling they promised to send the reply and sent it soon.

I disagree with the issue with credit cards on different accounts. We run lots of accounts for clients and we always use the same credit card, and never had any problem.

We also have run two accounts with one CC for 2 months.
But you can see what's happened.
I can't exactly say whether these problems were due to one CC per two accounts but in the our last mail we said that we have 2 accounts with the same cc and maybe the problems is due to this? The reply from Adwords was -"We will only allow that one account to run. Please re-enter you cc information."
We re-entered the same cc and now all is OK. (knock-knock-knock on a tree)
So it seems that this was a reason.
