Good day to all! All want to know some important infos about after creating an Adwords account. (I did'nt able to create one at this moment, is Adwords down?.)

For example I have these following Keywords: life settlement, life settlements, insurance and life insurance.

QUESTIONS:

1. If Google provides history list per word (example, "insurance", what the highest and lowest bidding for the last six months?)
2. How many times I have to monitor each keyword? (daily, weekly, monthly?)
3. What day of the week or month is final bidding?
4. Are they going to notify me by e-mail about my position in bidding?
5. Are they going to charge me per keyword?

Pls. bear with me with these questions, I don't have much time to click in every URLs in Google AdWords..

Hope u can help me guys with this inquiry.. Thank you in advance!

No, there is a traffic estimator though.

For those keywords, probably throughout the day.

>3. What day of the week or month is final bidding?

It doesn't work like that.

>4. Are they going to notify me by e-mail about my position in bidding?

No

>5. Are they going to charge me per keyword?

You will be charged per click

>Pls. bear with me with these questions, I don't have much time to click in every URLs in Google AdWords..

You need to read the guidelines to get the best out of AdWords...

It's very difficult to have a successful campaign with just 4 keywords. Some people have been known to use thousands.

I recommend reading some good books on Adwords.

Good luck!

I would recomend reading through this forum first. Many questions you didn't think of, the answers will be found here.

Be careful about buying AdWords books, many of them are outdated. A book just a few months old might have good info about titles/descriptions/etc. But as far as account mangement goes, probably won't include the newest features in AdWords which you'll find the answers to in this forum.

Acid, I'm familiar with your industry and very aware that key terms related to life settlements can go for over $40 PER click. You are in an extremely competitive industry and my suggestion is that you pay an expert to, at the least, get your AdWords campaign off the ground. It would be better to go ahead and just pay the expert to manage your Google campaign as well. Google strategy is fairly complicated and you are not going to be able to ask a few questions on this forum and kick start a successful campaign. The learning curve for Google takes time, practice, a budget to work with and doing your research and homework. In your industry, you have the potential to lose a lot more money than it would cost you to hire someone. Just go to Google and search for AdWords Management.

Can't speak to this, as I've not read them. I'd like to though.

Agreed! I kind of go by the old adage (I may have made this up, I'm not sure):

"The more you know, the more you know!"

Towards this end, I also highly recommend the AdWords FAQ, available here:

[adwords.google.com...]

IMO, for a new CPC advertiser to run an AdWords account without reading the FAQ is like using a brand new digital camera without reading the owner's manual: You may be able to take decent basic pictures, but you'll have no idea about all the other really cool stuff you could do.
