If query matches "keyword phrase" AND [keyword phrase] ......

.... which is credited with the impression/click?

If I have the broad term ferrari in my adgroup and also some vague phrases like green ferrari or [ferrari spares] or "green ferrari", what would happen if a user searches for:

"green ferrari" for sale

My adword would appear but when the user clicks my adword will I get charged for the mega-expensive ferrari term, or for the much cheaper "green ferrari" phrase?

Or am I missing the point somewhere here?
thanks

Good question..

I think it will use the MAX cpc that you have set for green ferrari, but you'll be bidding up against the guys who have bid the max for ferrari so you will not get any air time unless your CTR rate for green ferrari is really high.

Which it might be, because you are bidding on something specific ..

So should I remove the broad term "ferrari" from my adgroup? Because currently even if the query is "green ferrari" my broad term "ferrari" is being served rather than my exact match.

So maybe I need to remove my broad term..... or put it in a different adgroup or something?

Eeek, I hate being new at something

by the way, ferrari is not really my target keyword. It's just for illustration purposes :)

simply put:
If I have the following 2 entries in my adgroup:

green ferrari (£1 CPC)
"green ferrari" (0.30p CPC)

What happens if a user searches for:

"green ferrari" (with quotation marks)

Does my broad term get delivered for £1.00 CPC or
Does my phrase-match get delivered for £0.30 CPC?

Any pointers on this issue?
thanks
