I have created some color schemes for my google adsense text banners

I used red for title and green for url on a grey background

but google displayes the url and the title in black font.

Why doesnīt google use the colors I define for the ADs?

Of course they are. I also tried to use different colors (other kinds of red for example).
Nothing worked.

There was a slight change however.
I changed no code at all but now the urls are red.
Still missing is the green link text (it is still black)

I donīt understand how this can happen

google_color_border = ["464E58","464E58","2F3C4D"];
google_color_bg = ["2F3C4D","7F8992","7F8992"];
google_color_link = ["FFFFFF","FF0000","00D800"];
google_color_url = ["45C846","00FF00","C00000"];
google_color_text = ["C5CACF","FFFFFF","FFFFFF"];

No black there what so ever but still:
<snip>

They seem to overrule my settings somehow!? :?

anyone any idea?

Certain color combinations (e.g. grey text on grey background) are being indeed overridden by Google as there is too little contrast between the colors. Main concern is that some publishers may want to make certain parts of the ad (e.g. the URL) or even the whole ad disappear.

My suggestion would be to either live with the auto-corrected colors or to select another color-scheme that does not trigger auto-color-correction.

There are some threads about this here in the forum.

This happened to me a while back...it drove me crazy. I think I changed the ad layout and that fixed the problem.
