I'm confused on my earnings.

Example:
If I look at my overview screen it says today's earnings are $19.67

If I add up the top channels it comes to over $30 and if I go to the advanced report and select all channels it says over $30

Where does this $19 come from?

You have channels that overlap.

or the day hasn't finished and the two numbers aren't in sync.
It happens.
The numbers are never final until the day is over. (and sometimes not then)

The channels are for you to check on how certain pages/ads are performing.

To get your total money/impressions/clicks for the entire month just click on the show this month by day and you should see the correct day to day stats.

If you have your channels arranged like I have, your reports will show an impressive income!
I have channels like:
1)http://www.widget.com,
2)http://subdomain.widget.com,
3)http://subdomain.widget.com/index.html.

Channel 2 includes the income of 3, chanel 1 includes the income of both 2 en 3. So your stats get pretty messed up this way. But, hey, since I don't get good cash in my bank-account, the least I can do is get some fake stats with good numbers!

humblebeginnings is spot on - it sounds like you're experiencing channel data overlap. You might want to try using custom channels rather than URL channels, which should help eliminate this problem.
