1.adsense effects good content sites as much as bad content sites is really true because everyone big site or small site complaint the same
2.nowadays, adsense for many new competitions and I got recruit email from other new advertiser agent daily, weekly. This also mean that google advertisers could go down due to click fraud and many new competitions popup like mushroom
3. I started with google 10 months up and down to just down down down payout; 100US$, 200, 400, 600, 900, 1000, 900, 700, 600 down to 350$/month and my site is 35,000-40,000 pageview a day and IP of 7000visitors/day. Not much I can do, but turn off my PC and go to bed for a change. Somehow, tired of changes 10,000 webpages everytime google adjust the move. I might spent more energy managing my site more than chasing multiple ads-campaign out there.
4.Since their adjustment, adwords are not as good and accurate as before; example….. beatles midi content used to display either beatles ringtone, beatles vinyl record, midi software now turn to midi software, guitar note and less variety with 0.50$ per 1000 rate! These either advertisers leavesd adsense or their adjustment good for block fraud away with their old goodies adword-match-content.
Even how bad it is with adsense today, it’s still payout better than CJ.com and amazon.com based on the same efforts and display ads/day. Certainly I complaint but I have no idea how to improve my situation and I’ll be glad if someone tell me what I can do about it. There are many discussion of what happen but not discussion on what to do next. My sixth years online free-labor web pay off with google but after 10 months, I’m now starting over again.
My site index 16,000pages by google so you understand my pain for any adsense changes and labor involved in improving my site in this rat chase scrapped dollars.
Anyone, please suggest what to do? Maybe we should talk less about what happened already and talk about how to solve it to be back to the game and see that fat paycheck again....anyone?

Obviously everyone is going to be different, but here I'm reasonably happy. Fortunately the advice of this board is really helping... I don't get complacent..
A. Stiff competition?

A. Refresh your pages by adding content
B. Make the content convert
C. Try using section targeting
D. Cross your fingers
Think about this: We're all on the same river, some are trying to row upstream in a fast current, some are floating downstream, and some are stuck in a pool going around in circles. Some bought powermotors, and are heading upstream with ease while sipping their martinis,(but sometimes they run out of gas.)
Just don't get caught on the rocks, or get a hole in your boat. If all else fails, get out your fishing tackle and fish. (get links)
I had also a site from a film project, which can be cold a fan site.
The CPM was very similar to Yours, so I had given up this site, because domain names and hosting made about 50% of the revenues and there had been rumors, that a bad site could influence the EPC of a good site.
I concentrate mainly on good CPM themes. For luck, also themes where I am interested in. My average CPM is about 40 times higher that the CPM from the abandoned fan site.
google index over 15,000 webpages of my sites so content is not the issue except the chase of the changes is the headache.....
google search also see my site from search result over 35,000 links so that's not the problem neither.
Blame it on the fraud click is more like it.
for those who begin adsense and see the UP UP UP figure in pay check is not of surprises, please keep me posted if what they say is true that when 6 months honeymoon is over, it's down down down paycheck.
overall, I never cheat with google, and after all they payout is still better than no google at all.....

Did you know that advertisers can now choose what sites they want to advertise on?
I could see that we could set our adsense to what kind of sites we do not want their ads (cigarettes, porno, competitors .....)
do we allow to set minimum rate for CPM on our site? If so I must miss this out and where is it for I did not see it at login.
if adsense maintain is stable steady LOW paycheck now, I can spare some space for others services and affiliate as well.
I like google so much that breath in and out like it's my "CULT" already but my host cost me 195$/month so I have to maintain some paycheck to keep my site as free portal site as much as I could (when it's not really FREE to me, lol)
I'm saying this not because I'm piss or anything for my site also in google directory, so I know my site is a no non-sense site. The key is to adjust with google and I try to raise creative ideas for solution here and of course some good tips

I would assume this translates into 40 GB traffic per month.
For this, Your hosting costs are extem high.
I have a free web hosting company with thousands of hosted websites that I run adsense on. I am acheiving more than one million permission per month making me around $200, that is 20 cents per CPM.
I had to add other advertisements like popups and popunders to have some extra bucks.
Did you know that advertisers can now choose what sites they want to advertise on?We can now narrow it down to a section of a site.

Why not creating own content?
It's the proof, that pushing AdSense code into free hosted sites brings nearly nothing.
So that cant be true! Its the content that matters.

can someone tell me what kind of content make 2000$/month based on 5-60,000 page viewAny site or page, or account with an ecpm of $30 or more can make $3,000 based on 3,300 pageviews a day. That is certainly not an unheard of figure for many quality sites. Just having a site in an otherwise high paying topic does not mean that site/page will be high paying. Your traffic quality is important as well.
