Hi

What hex # do I use (or is it possible) to give my add units a transparent background? I've tried leaving it blank or even writing in the word transparent as suggested somewhere else but it still shows up white?

tks

Transparent is not possible. I think Google knows why.

the background is an image with a variated (sp?) colour so can't make it the same, but looks like I can't do it anyway!

tks

Hi everhopeful,

I took the safe route and removed bg images and went with color, I think the whole site looks better and the earnings really took off when I finished brushing it up, adding some more content, fixing up some of the code, using the heatmap and taking good suggestions...:)

Might help you also.

Ann

I have a BG image on one of my sites, but it is mostly one color, and my Adsense ads set to that color work very well on the page.

everhopefull -

We ask that you do not use a transparent background for your ads, and instead stick to the color choices available in your AdSense account.

As you may know, modifying the AdSense code beyond the options available in the 'Layout' section of your account is prohibited by AdSense program policies ([google.com ]

Thanks for asking,
