Hi, I'm close to getting my first cheque from google :)
I read once in this forum that for example citibank charges you a ridiculous amount of money from each cashing. Is that true? I have an account at citibank :( Are there banks in the US that do not charge anything? I have another account at HSBC. Would that be ok?
Thanks for your comments,
Sven

Miss out on bank charges and go EFT (if you can where you live)

Saved myself £150 a year!

Deffinitely go for EFT if you can. NatWest used to charge me about £20 per cheque - £15 of that fee, and the rest unfavourable exchange rate.

I'm saving £200 plus per year on bank charges/poor exchange rate.
