Adsense Not Updating properly

Ok I am a new bit at this so maybe this has been answered before but bare with me. I was checking by Adsense stats and I see that I have a number of page impressions, clicks, and a page CTR of more then 0%, yet Today’s Earnings shows as $0. I am pretty sure they all weren’t public service ads. Anybody know what the reason for this might be?

AdSense updating regularly with figures that make sense is the exception rather than the rule. Occasionally it all makes sense, but more often they have me scratching my head and saying "what's with these crazy figures now." The delayed updates just add to this but if one thing can be depended upon there will be updating delays (and threads like this).

Since there will always be newbies there should always be threads like this because the stats are very unsettling until you realize how erratic they really are. And you'll never completely lose that sinking feeling when they are not updating...

At first I found these "not updating" threads very reassuring and still think they help my peace of mind.

Although I'm in the game for almost 6 months now, the Adsense stats still make me wonder sometimes.
Huh, 10 clicks, zero earnings? (I am sure there were no PSA's)
What, 2 impressions, 8 clicks?
Must I call G?
Usually it looks just fine after a couple of hours...

Try normal impressions, zero clicks, zero earnings. I'm hoping that it's just another stat delay.

Things will hopefully even out by tonight ... maybe if I wish with all my might for a click dump...

Try NOT looking at it prior to 5 PM Google Time... you'll have much less stress.

Use google desktop with adsense panel. The stats is way ahead than in the google website. You can reload it anytime and you'll get the latest update... bypassing the cookie on your machine.

Personally I would just ignore todays earnings. The stats are generally so far out that no decent conclusion can be derived from what you are seeing. I always look at yesterdays earnings as the stats will be correct by the time you look at them today.

does that make any sense? ;oP

...no decent conclusion can be derived from what you are seeing.

I disagree. In spite of the perplexing anomalies and weighting toward mornings (which is, I suspect leftover numbers from the previous day, added hours late) it is possible to spot sudden surges, drops and other trends.

Since channels are now updating with earnings it is possible to track new pages etc. as the updates arrive.

Though I will admit to some compulsion and excessive checking.

I just did install G desktop with the Adsense panel, it should save some time.

Stuck Stats - it only means one thing: tomorrow the 'Payment in Progress' in our accounts will become a check number.

I still feel uneasy though because I started the day on fire (50% of my average earnings was met within the first 4 hours) but my earnings haven't moved since then. :(

My trend has been similar to yours today moneyraker.... was at 50% of my record day in the wee hours of the morning, and have seen VERY little movement since.

its 'tomorrow' already now - stats down by 60%, earnings drop by 60% .

Still - payment in progress.

Are your stats normal now? or is it my bad day today? :(

Hmm. My stats look totally normal in terms of impressions for this time of day. A bit above average for earnings. So whatever this is, it's not system-wide.

I think it is tomorrow for you, but for us in Google time zone it is still your yesterday :) It will be fine, just check again in another 2 hours.
