Until now my site was www.widget.com/red_widget, hosted on a friends domein. I ran AdSense on this site.
I bought my own domein www.site.com
I know that I am allowed to put my adsense code on my new site, but how I can inform google that I no longer have any connection with www.widget.com? Ofcourse I removed all my adsense code from www.widget.com/red_widget, there is nohing there but a redirect to my new page/ I ask that because my friend also runs AdSense on www.widget.com. Because I moved I dont want to be no longer afiliated with his site, In cas he gets baned I dont want to lose my Adsense.
If the old site is the original one you applied to Adsense with, email Google and let them know that you no longer have any affiliation with that site, and that you'd like help to change your account details. Simply email them in a professional and business like manner and they'll help.
I did this a while back because I sold the origional site I applied with and they were very prompt and helpful, and included all I needed to make the changes.
The process was effortless and not intimidating at all.
The Google team is there to help you with any situations like this. There are a lot of big-bad-wolf stories you'll read on forums like this about not drawing attention or whatever, but that's usually for people who are doing something wrong.
All my experiences in contacting them regarding my account have been very positive.
