Bad Adsense Day

I reported invalid clicks, and now this.

Some time ago, my earnings per day dropped from about $10 per day to $5 per day, so I started experimenting a lot to improve things, which only got worse.

So I mailed Adsense support, and with their tips I was able to improve CTR and earnings for my two site to $9-$10.

Today, I reported an invalid click to them and it's back to the $5 range (for today). Do you know if there is any correlation? Or is this just random?

Random. Adsense can be like a terribly wild roller coaster ride.

You are getting such low income they don't care about you or your emails. $5-$10 is a nothing fluctation. Email them when you go from 5K-10K.

It is a 100 percent drop but your numbers are so low as to make any meaningful comparison useless. Your sample rate is FAR to small.

Its like a corner shop with only a few visitors a day. Some days they sell nothing. Other days they may get a rush of visitors (for them) and make much more.

If they had 15 corner shops then business would be seen to be steady in reality. Overall.

I have 15 or so sites. TOGETHER they average 3k to 4k per month for two years. Take any single site over that period, and income goes up and down sometimes for months, over 300 percent. Its down to so many variables and small sample size.

Macdonalds can reliably tell you how burger sales are, the burgervan cant.

And bobster, from $10 to $5 is a 50% drop. From $5 to $10 IS a 100% increase, but it doesn't work the same in reverse. $10 to 0 would be a 100% drop....
