URL line not appearing in ads

I recently read a thread here about changing the URL color of the ads to be invisible. I am having a problem where this is happening without any doing on my part.

I am selecting the "Mother Earth", leaderboard format and the add displays fine - just the URL line cannot be see. I have tried getting a fresh copy of the code, and even changing the URL color but nothing seems to work.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on how to fix it?

I believe the URL is absent in the leaderboard format. Check the example adsense gives....the url is not there.

The URL has never been displayed on either the leaderboard or the banner when there is a full complement of ads displayed, so you have nothing to be concerned about.

You're always fine if you use the code given to you by Google, without modification.

I feel silly not having noticed that but I guess it is because I having been running other ad formats till now.
