Hi all,
My question is could you make a good living from adsense
Iam a newbie and have 13 small websites
For yhe past three month revenue from adsense has decrease badly and iam starting to get worried because i depend on adsense money to pay my living expensive
Any help please

It is really not a good business model to rely on one source of income -there are plenty of other ways to make money too.

I think the key is to never rely on adsense. You may look back after 5 years and say 'adsense has paid my living for 5 years' but if you budget for it to happen that could be a disaster.

You can make a living with Adsense, but it can be stressful. With a day time job, I know I'll be getting my steady paycheck (unless I get fired). With Adsense as main source if income, every time traffic or CTR drops, it's like money is falling through the hole in my pocket :)

Yep.

We make a living on it, have since Aug. 2004. Now we're closer to a 2 income level. We had a few scary months - including getting dropped for 3 weeks with the Bourbon update.

I wouldn't get into any long term financial commitments yet. And once we hit a certain level I plan to use the additional money to diversify.

It's quite a ride.

I bank my adsense money except for emergencies such as a new side by side refrigator (rolls eyes) But I 'live' on my social security income which is pretty good plus sales.

As long as I stay within that budget I won't be devastated if adsense fails, sad but not too upset, Just as long as it lasts to let me finish saving for my new home....no not a downpayment, the whole bag of peanuts.

I also diversify in my small way plus I have a fall back plan so I really don't worry that much over it.

Get another source of income, diversify, etc. Love it when it goes up and shrug your shoulders when it goes down then smile all the way to the bank.

Just use it has a starting point. Build up your income to a decent leval and then start deversiving your income streams, ASAP.

No. I take AdSense alone, because all other do not work.

For example, I have Amazon as PSA raplacement and show Amazon on the contact formular.

But we discovered AdSense on the target pages of the affliant program.

I have two distinct corporations whose revenue are derived primarily from AdSense revenues. This includes paychecks for 3 people, rent, and a 12 server in-house network, so you be the judge.

I was used to use to life of from adsense cash a year ago, then my account got terminated. You prolly have the idea of how hard the bottom is.

Now even tho a lot of time passed, I got my account back, but I still dont trust them fully and never will. So basically what do with it is what Ann does, I just put in the bank and use it to endulge myself (from time to time) with some stuff, new cellphone or stuff like that.

Adsense as primary income source is absolutely unreliable , would not recommend it to anyone.

Heck, half the people here are asking for writers.

I always wondered why they didn't just write their stuff themselves.
Then I 'figgered' it all out for myself.
They can't.

no time for another job and no succes at all with affiliate programs.
in the recent months i earned way more than i have to spend and i'm beginning to protect myself financially for the worst case.
i'm going to save as much money so that i can get along for a half year without income. that will be a more than sufficient time span to look for alternatives.

Rule of thumb has always been to save a years worth of money to keep you in the same living conditions you are in now in order to give you LOTS of time to make a successful change.

I set a reasonable income lvl and that is what I live at. The rest is saved because of the volitility of it. I get money from adsense and aff stuff.

online there are tons of ways where you can make money: eBay, cpm programms, clickbank, selling ur own inforproducts, etc etc. adsense is one way...but there are several.

do not depend on AS, use the system while works and if possible bank the AS money.

Myself, I use it for savings only. Do not relay on AS income.
