Howdy,

Just wanted to see if anyone else has had a problem getting an account with AdSense. I've tried twice in the past couple of weeks and... crickets... no reply.

The website I'm applying with is automotive related. Nothing offensive, general content and sees a good level of traffic.

Is the wait usually in the weeks just to get accepted to the program or are they ignoring me for some reason?

Cheers!

It took me a little over 28 hours to get accepted, two days ago. Are you sure you are giving them a valid email address.

There could be the possibility that your ISP is filtering the email from Google as spam. Several people have reported this problem previously. Perhaps try contacting them with an alternate email address.

Thanks for your replies guys :)

I received an email from Google's Adsense Team (which I've attached in part to the bottom of this message). My hosting company does not filter for spam and I've tried a couple different email addresses now but still the same results... no confirmation email. :(

I'll contact them and continue the dialogue.

Cheers!

PS> sorry posting the URI... thought it would be of help in evaluating the suitability of my site for acceptance into the AdSense program, but understandable that you deleted it.

just as a follow up, we solved the problem.. it was MSIE. Not sure exactly why it wasn't working in IE since I have all the service packs, updates and run default security settings but for some reason the account detail form just wasn't getting processed in IE.

We were successful with Mozilla.

How do your browser problems have anything to do with getting accepted into AdSense? You said you hadn't gotten your email acceptance.

I am going to guess, they never received his applications. Because his browser could not complete them.

I wasn't getting a confirmation email. In fact, I wasn't even getting the confirmation screen telling me to check my email, was just getting sent back to the login screen... what I thought was originally a usability problem (since I was not being told "what happens next") was instead some sort of problem with my browser not processing the form.

I'm still confused as to why Internet Explorer was acting this way since there were no signs of obvious problems here or on any other websites, but the good news is I reached the confirmation screen and received the confirmation email using a different browser.
