First 100-click day

Just thought I'd share...

After more than a month of declining earnings, some good news. I had my first 100-click day (usual average around 18-20 clicks over two sites) and the day's not nearly done yet.

Of course, it helped that one of my sites was written about in a newspaper, which caused a spike in traffic. My previous best for one day was 56 clicks. Still haven't got to my record earnings for one day (just over $10), but I'm close.

100 clicks and not over $10 :/ wow I get about 15 and get $5 I wish my site could be feature in the newspaper :)

Yes, I thought it would bring in more than that, but I guess it's like what's being talked about on the other thread about linear extrapolations - X times the clicks doesn't make it X times the earnings.

What usually was my top earning channel (about 25-30 cents per click on average) bottomed out today at under 4 cents per click. Go figure.

On the bright side, since that first post, I'm now at my all-time best earnings for a day. Might even be a $20 day. Let's see. <crosses fingers>
