We all know how you can get different stats from two different browsers at the same time. I think I've figured out why.

When you're viewing your stats Google whips a cookie on your machine that stores information about when the stats were last grabbed. There's then a period of time before you're able to get new stats.

I've found that if you disable cookies and then login, you'll find new stats! You'll need to enable cookies again though, as the stats aren't very functional without cookies.

It's called G.A.S.S, the AdSense team even know about it - [adsense.blogspot.com ].

I furiously check my stats when I've added a new channel or a site and I'm eager to know how the channel / site is performing... I can't help it!

If you check your stats often you might find out more about how much specific ads are paying...

And with CPM ads you see Earnings but no clicks. You can track down which pages have CPM ads using URL tracking and with Custom tracking even determine which Ad unit is showing CPM ads, but only if there are no clicks indicated in the reports can you draw any conclusions.

So you have to look a lot, early in the morning. The East coast of the US is great because Google has just started it's new day so it's easy to see those very first earnings with no clicks for the day.
